Broadway legends Nathan Lane and Patti LuPone, and “Only Murders in the Building” duo Amy Ryan and Kylie Rogers have joined the cast of Ari Aster’s new film “Disappointment Blvd.” at A24.
The story is described as an intimate, decades-spanning portrait of one of the most successful entrepreneurs (Joaquin Phoenix) of all time. Further plot specifics are under wraps.
Aster (“Midsommar,” “Hereditary”) will write and direct, and will also produce with Lars Knudsen. Phoenix is expected to shoot the film once he wraps Ridley Scott’s “Kitbag”.
