A bunch of TV renewals have been handed out in the past day or so. First up there’s Taylor Sheridan’s oil drilling series “Landman,” starring Billy Bob Thornton and Demi Moore, which has been picked up for a third season.

The renewal comes as the second season is still in the midst of airing, the season premiere nabbing 9.2 million views worldwide over its first few days – more than triple its first season debut.

Next, the Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne-led dramedy “Platonic” has been renewed for a third season. The order comes three months after the second season debuted back in August.

Then, Hulu’s Glen Powell-led comedy “Chad Powers” has been renewed for a second season. Powell will reprise his role in the new run which will follow the cliffhanger ending of the first season and is expected to follow straight on from the first season – no gap in events.

Finally, both the “Blue Bloods” spin-off “Boston Blue” and the “Fire Country” spin-off “Sheriff Country” have both scored second season renewals over at CBS. The latter is averaging 7.6 million US viewers while the former is averaging 8 million.
