Alex Kurtzman’s Secret Hideout company is developing a series adaptation of Jackson Ford’s sci-fi novel “The Girl Who Could Move S–t With Her Mind”.
The story follows Teagan Frost, a woman with telekinetic powers who works as a secret government operative on break-in missions that no ordinary human could carry out.
Soon though a body turns up at the site of her last job, one killed in a way only she could pull off, and so she has just 24 hours to clear her name and prevent Los Angeles from coming into the crosshairs of an underground battle about to explode.
Author Maria Lewis calls it “Alias meets X-Men in a grimy LA setting”. Kurtzman, who has been shepherding “Star Trek: Discovery” and “Star Trek: Picard” for CBS Television Studios, is in the early stages of development of the project. He and Heather Kadin will executive produce.
