It’s official, Kurt Russell will return for the upcoming second season of “Legacy Of Monsters” for Apple TV.
Kurt Russell and his son, Wyatt Russell, play the older and younger version, respectively, of Army officer Lee Shaw across the first season.
The older Lee’s fate was uncertain as he was sucked into the Hollow Earth while the crew returned to the surface.
The ten-episode second season also stars Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Joe Tippett and Anders Holm.
The news was announced via a video through the official Apple TV YouTube channel, a video captioned “The mission isn’t over. Everything changes tomorrow.”
That would suggest a featurette or trailer is coming tomorrow. The second season wrapped production back in February and will launch on the streamer sometime next year.
