Kristen Wiig Joins Jonah Hill In “Cut Off”

Warner Bros. Pictures

Kristen Wiig is set to join Jonah Hill as the co-lead in his new comedy film “Cut Off” at Warner Bros. Pictures.

The pair will play wealthy siblings whose parents turn off the money faucet and force their adult kids to support themselves.

Hill is directing from a script he co-wrote with Ezra Woods. Filming gets underway this Fall ahead of a July 17th 2026 theatrical release.

The project was first teased earlier this year when it was granted California production tax credits of $10 million against a budget close to $50 million.

Hill, Matt Dines and Ali Goodwin will produce the film which will come after Hill’s Apple Studios movie “Outcome” starring Keanu Reeves, Cameron Diaz and Matt Bomer.

That follows a sober actor who is blackmailed with incriminating old video footage, seeking to make amends with the people in his life and find the source of the leak.

Wiig will shortly be seen as the arch villain in family film “Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie” opening in September.
