Fox Entertainment has announced the voice cast for “Rick and Morty” creator Dan Harmon’s animated comedy series “Krapopolis” which is slated to premiere in 2022.
The series is set in mythical ancient Greece and centers on a flawed family of humans, gods and monsters that tries to run one of the world’s first cities without killing each other.
Richard Ayoade plays Tyrannis, the King of Krapopolis and the mortal son of both the self-destructive goddess Deliria (Hannah Waddingham) and the half manticore/half centaur struggling artist Shlub (Matt Berry).
Not helping is his goddess/cyclops half-sister Stupendous (Pam Murphy) or his part mermaid half-brother Hippocampus (Duncan Trussell).
Writer, producer, and animator Jordan Young (“Bojack Horseman”) has been named as executive producer/showrunner.
