“Pirates of the Caribbean” star Martin Klebba has confirmed a long-standing rumor that he’s playing Grumpy in Disney’s live-action “Snow White” remake.
Appearing at Denver’s annual Fan Expo, the actor himself confirmed on video both his role and that he’s already finished shooting his part in the movie which is expected out late in 2023 after their live-action “The Little Mermaid” arrives in May.
Klebba joins a cast that includes Gal Gadot as the evil Queen, “West Side Story” actress Rachel Zegler as Snow White and “The Inheritance” breakout Andrew Burnap will play a new male character that is neither the Prince or Huntsman.
The new film is shaking up the old one’s premise, gone are the dwarfs and instead, Snow will be hanging around a group of seven ‘magical creatures’.
Marc Webb (“The Amazing Spider-Man “) helms the film which will boast music by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (“La La Land”).
