Kevin Hart and Wesley Snipes will star as brothers in the fictional limited drama series “True Story” at Netflix and HartBeat Productions.
Hart will play Kid, a world-famous comedian who makes a tour stop in his hometown of Philadelphia and visits his older brother Carlton (Snipes).
However, the events of one lost evening turn into matters of life or death that threaten to destroy Kid’s career and everything he has built. Eric Newman will pen the series which Charles Murray, Hart and Newman will executive produce.
Stephen Williams (“Watchmen”) will direct and executive produce the first four episodes, and Hanelle Culpepper (“Star Trek Picard”) will direct the final four.
