Kevin Hart is set to make an Adam Sandler-sized deal with Netflix.
The comedian will both star in and produce four features for the streamer and then enter his HartBeat Productions label into a first-look deal with the company.
The comedian’s previous deals have been with Universal and Nickelodeon, though one of his comedy special was Netflix’s top performer in that category in 2020.
Hart is currently shooting action comedy “Man From Toronto” and will follow that up with Netflix’s “True Story” with that film NOT a part of this deal.
He’s not the only one making such deals today as Idris Elba and his Green Door Pictures (“Concrete Cowboy”) label will work with Archery Pictures (“Riviera”) on selected future projects across both TV and film.
