Kevin Durand (“The Strain,” “X-Men: Origins – Wolverine”) has joined the growing cast of “Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes” which continues 20th Century Studios’ revival of the franchise.
Wes Ball (“The Maze Runner”) directs the new entry which will reportedly be set many years after the events of “War For the Planet of the Apes”. Freya Allan, Peter Macon, Eka Darville and Owen Teague co-star.
Josh Friedman, Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, and Patrick Aison are co-writing the script with filming to begin this month ahead of a release sometime in 2024.
