Kevin Costner and “The Upside of Anger” writer/director Mike Binder are re-teaming for the indie “Black and White” at Treehouse Productions and Sunlight Productions.
Costner plays a widower who loses his daughter during the birth of his bi-racial granddaughter.
Raising the child, he becomes locked in a custody battle with the child’s paternal grandmother and race becomes a major issue.
Todd Lewis will produce, and shooting begins this summer in New Orleans.
