Keegan-Michael Key is set to join Timothee Chalamet in “Wonka,” the new musical reimagining of Roald Dahl’s children’s book “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” at Warner Bros. Pictures.
Chalamet is set to star as young Willy Wonka in the film to be directed by “Paddington” alum Paul King. Key’s role is unknown at this time.
Wonka is the infamous and eccentric owner of a chocolate factory and has been portrayed on screen before by Gene Wilder and Johnny Depp.
David Heyman is producing the new feature which hasn’t set a release date as yet.
