That’s not the only directing hire today as “Taken” director Pierre Morel has been set to helm the Kate Beckinsale-led spy thriller “Canary Black” for Anton. Sebastien Raybaud, John Zois, Renee Tab and Christopher Tuffin produce and filming will begin later this year.

Beckinsale plays Avery Graves, a top CIA agent blackmailed by terrorists into betraying her country to save her kidnapped husband, and finds herself turning to underworld contacts to survive.

Finally comes word Ami Canaan Mann (“Texas Killing Fields”) has been slated to direct the biopic “Audrey’s Children” for Amasia Entertainment and Resonate Entertainment.

The story follows Dr. Audrey Evans, the revolutionary pediatric oncologist best known as the co-founder of Ronald McDonald House Charities. She discovered groundbreaking treatment methods for pediatric cancer and put her own career on the line to save children’s lives.
