Stana Katic (TV’s “Castle”) and Odette Yustman (“The Unborn”) have joined the cast of the spy thriller “The Double” for Hyde Park Entertainment reports Reuters.
The story centers on a retired CIA operative (Richard Gere) forced to partner with a young FBI agent (Topher Grace) to hunt down the killer of a senator in Washington.
Katic plays a feisty Russian prostitute who fiercely protects key information. Yustman plays Grace’s wife, a strong family woman. Stephen Moyer was recently cast as a Russian spy.
Scribe Michael Brandt makes his directorial debut on the film which he co-wrote with Derek Haas. Ashok Amritraj, Patrick Aiello and Andrew Deane will produce and shooting kicks off next week in Detroit.
