Following a well-received and instantly meme-able role in “American Horror Story: Delicate” as a cutthroat publicist, reality star and actress Kim Kardashian is re-teaming with Ryan Murphy for a new legal drama at Hulu.
Deadline reports that the project, currently untitled, is being dubbed a “high-end, glossy and sexy adult procedural”.
If her deal closes, Kardashian would play Los Angeles’ most successful divorce lawyer and the owner of an all-female law firm. Hulu has reportedly committed to a large straight-to-series order.
Murphy, Kardashian and Kris Jenner will all executive-produce and casting is seeking three other actresses to play Kardashian’s glamorous law partners along with an A-list actor to play her love interest.
“Brothers & Sisters” creator Jon Robin Baitz, who is also penning “Feud: Capote Vs. The Swans” for Ryan Murphy, will write alongside Joe Baken (“American Horror Stories”).
The series is eyeing a production start in late 2024 for an early 2025 launch. Hulu is a natural home for the series as the actress has her reality series sensation “The Kardashians” at the streamer.
