20th Century Studios has picked up the film rights to M.T. Anderson’s seminal 2002 dystopian love story novel “Feed”.

The book is one of the most acclaimed young novels from the past two decades, and also one of the most frequently banned and challenged books of the past decade.

Set in a future America where internet connections feed directly into the consumer’s brain, the story centers on the unfolding love story between Titus Gray, an average kid on a weekend trip to the moon, and Violet Durn, a brainy girl who has decided to try to fight the feed.

25-year old Nigerian filmmaker Stanley Kalu, who recently graduated from USC, is set to write and direct the feature while Zachary Green will produce.
