“The Flight Attendant” star Kaley Cuoco is jumping from HBO Max to Peacock, the actress has been set for the lead in the darkly comedic thriller series “Based On a True Story”.
Inspired by a bizarre true event, the series follows a married realtor (Cuoco), a plumber and a former tennis star whose lives unexpectedly collide, exposing America’s obsession with true crime, murder and the slow-close toilet seat.
Cuoco reportedly has a two-season deal for the show, but it’s said her deal allows her to return for more “The Flight Attendant” should another season of that get the go-ahead.
“The Boys” executive producer Craig Rosenberg will serve as showrunner and executive producer alongside Jason Bateman and Michael Costigan for Aggregate Films. Cuoco is currently shooting the action-thriller feature “Role Play” alongside David Oyelowo.
