“Jurassic World: Dominion” Is Third Film’s Title

Colin Trevorrow has used Twitter to reveal that filming has begun on the third installment of the “Jurassic World” trilogy and revealed the official title for the film in the process – “Jurassic World: Dominion”.

The new film sees returning cast members from the first two “Jurassic World” films like Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy Daniella Pineda and Justice Smith joined by original “Jurassic Park “stars Laura Dern, Sam Neill, and Jeff Goldblum.

Earlier this week actor Joe Mazzello (“Bohemian Rhapsody,” “Tremors,” “The Social Network”) left a cryptic tweet tease hinting that he might reprise his role of Tim Murphy from the first “Jurassic Park” in the new film.

Steven Spielberg and Colin Trevorrow return to executive produce for Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment with Trevorrow once again directing. Emily Carmichael co-wrote the script with Trevorrow and the film opens June 11th 2021.
