“Jungle Cruise” To Also Hit Disney+

Walt Disney Studios has announced that the upcoming Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt-led “Jungle Cruise” will be coming to not just cinemas but also Disney+ when it arrives this Summer.

The long delayed adventure feature remains slated for July 30th where it will join the upcoming “Cruella” and “Black Widow” as a ‘Premier Access’ title.

This means on that day it will be available for in-home purchase to Disney+ subscribers for $29.99 before being made freely available on the service at a much later date.

The decision to opt for a non-theatrical only release is due to the continued closure of offshore markets such as Europe and Brazil due to the pandemic.

Jaume Collet-Serra helms the film which also stars Jack Whitehall and Jesse Plemons.
