Over a year after it was released, Netflix has officially cancelled the family-friendly musical comedy series “Julie and the Phantoms” after one season.
The show revolved around a teenage singer (Madison Reyes) who winds up forming a band with the ghosts of three dead 1990s rockers.
The nine-episode first season arrived on the service back in September 2020 with Kenny Ortega, Daniel Cross and David Hoge executive producing.
Ortega confirmed the news of the cancellation on social media.
