Josh Hartnett has signed on to join the cast of Christopher Nolan’s ensemble biopic “Oppenheimer” at Universal Pictures.
Cillian Murphy leads the cast as J. Robert Oppenheimer, the scientist who ran the Manhattan Project that led to the invention of the atomic bomb.
Specifics of Hartnett’s role are under wraps. The actor has had something of a comeback on the big screen recently thanks to his turns in Guy Ritchie’s “Wrath of Man” and “Operation Fortune: Ruse de guerre”.
Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr., Florence Pugh and Rami Malek co-star in the next directorial effort of Nolan which will be released on July 21st 2023.
