“Stranger Things” fourth season break-out star Joseph Quinn will join Lupita Nyong’o in the “A Quiet Place” spin-off film “Day One” at Paramount Pictures.
Serving as something of a prequel, this will show more of those events briefly glimpsed at the start of the second film where the creatures first arrive on the scene.
Emily Blunt and Krasinski aren’t expected to reprise their roles for the new film which will offer a larger canvas to set up a potential ‘Quiet Place’ universe.
Michael Sarnoski (“Pig”) will direct, based on an original idea from John Krasinski. Krasinski, Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller will produce.
“A Quiet Place: Day One” is due out on March 8th 2024. A third installment of the main franchise is in the works for 2025.
