“Get Out” and “Us” director Jordan Peele’s next horror film has set a July 22nd 2022 release date.
Universal Pictures announced the news today, the film opening a week after a third “Fantastic Beasts” film which just moved to the July 15th 2022 slot today as well.
Peele will write, direct and produce the movie with story details under wraps. The film is one of two titles that was mentioned when Peele signed his rich five-year overall feature deal with the studio.
“Us” pulled in $255 million at the global box office while “Get Out” snagged $176 million.
