Jordan Peele’s Next Film Set For Xmas 2024

Jordan Peele Sets A Universal Tv Deal
Universal Pictures

Universal Pictures has set a December 25th 2024 release date for “Get Out,” “Us” and “Nope” director Jordan Peele’s next feature which is currently untitled.

Marking his fourth directorial effort, the project will open just days after the third “Avatar” movie hits screens on December 20th 2024.

That’s not all though as a horror thriller from Peele’s Monkey Paw banner has also been slated to arrive a few months earlier on September 27th 2024 with Universal also distributing that. Peele will only produce that film, not direct and no filmmaker for that one has been announced at present.

No castings or other details have been revealed about Peele’s new film which is likely to be another in his elevated social genre efforts which can span various genres.

Peele, like Christopher Nolan or Quentin Tarantino, is a filmmaker whose name alone is a draw for audiences and is used heavily throughout a film’s marketing campaign to get people out to the cinemas. “Get Out” and “Us” both drew a little over $250 million each in their theatrical releases whilst “Nope” managed $171 million.

Peele is currently in the middle of a five-year deal with Universal which he signed in 2019. The new film falls under the deal.
