Jonathan Majors (“Lovecraft Country,” “Da 5 Bloods”) has joined Abi Damaris Corbin’s directorial debut “892” at Epic, Vox Media Studios, and Salmira Productions.
Majors plays a Marine war veteran who suffers from mental scars, and struggles with his transition back to civilian life. Corbin and Kwame Kwei-Armah wrote the screenplay.
Salman Al-Rashid, Sam Frohman, Joshuah Bearman and Mackenzie Fargo will produce and filming begins this Summer. Majors is currently filming “Devotion” and will be seen later this year in Netflix’s western “The Harder They Fall”.
