Canadian producer and co-financier Bron has filed for cross-border bankruptcy.

The company is reportedly attempting to steer through recovery after COVID, along with financial challenges and the current double strike.

Bron has produced or executive produced more than 125 productions since it was founded, with recent projects including HBO’s “The Idol,” Apple TV+ series “Black Bird” and “The Morning Show,” Oscar nominee “Tar,” Ti West’s “X” the Adam Driver-led “65” and Ron Howard’s “Thirteen Lives”.
