Veteran Hollywood composer John Williams, now 90, has previously indicated that the upcoming fifth “Indiana Jones” film will serve as his final film score composition.

The music master has built a decades-long career with multiple franchises under his belt, including “Harry Potter,” “Star Wars,” “Superman,” “Jurassic Park” and more.

But there’s one major franchise that has eluded him, one that he’s never been involved with and that he’d love to have a go at – James Bond.

Asked if he’d be interested in the opportunity of doing a 007 film score by Classic FM (via The Guardian), Williams had a three-word response: “I’d love it”.

In the same interview, he revealed he had finished around 30% of the score for the next “Indiana Jones” which is being directed by James Mangold and produced by Steven Spielberg.

Harrison Ford, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Thomas Kretschmann and Boyd Holbrook co-star in the film, which is slated for release on June 30th 2023.
