“Brooklyn Nine-Nine” alum Andre Braugher is already set, Alan Cumming will reprise his iconic “The Good Wife” role of Eli Gold, and now “Mad Men” and Marvel alum John Slattery is also joining the fun of the sixth season of “The Good Fight” on the Paramount+ service.
THR reports that Slattery will be playing the role of Lyle Bettencourt, a sophisticated and sensitive physician who helps Diane (Christine Baranski) through a crazy time.
The sixth season sees Diane struggling with an uneasy sense of déjà vu with everything from Roe v. Wade to voting rights to Cold War aggressions returning. Meanwhile, the lawyers of Reddick & Associates wonder if the violence that they see all around them points to an impending civil war.
Filming is underway on the new run ahead of a planned premiere sometime this Summer.
