“True Blood” and “Magic Mike XXL” star Joe Manganiello has joined Samuel L. Jackson and Uma Thurman in the dark comedic thriller “The Kill Room”.
The story will chart a hitman (Manganiello), his boss (Jackson) and an art dealer (Thurman) whose money-laundering scheme accidentally turns the hitman into an overnight avant-garde sensation and forces the dealer to play the art world against the underworld.
Nicol Paone directs from a script by Jonathan Jacobson and filming begins this spring in New Jersey and New York. Paone, Thurman, Jordan Yale Levine, Jordan Beckerman, Anne Clements, Jon Keeyes, William Rosenfeld, Dannielle Thomas and Jason Weinberg are producing.
