“The Legendary McClouds” and “Maintenance” scribe Joe Ballarini has been hired by Alloy Entertainment to adapt the script for a film version of Paul Watson’s sci-fi novel “The Robot” reports Variety.
The story centers around two teenagers who must stop a robotic assassin from starting World War III and is set for a July 21st release.
Leslie Morgenstein and Bob Levy are producing, while no director is currently attached.
