ABC late-night host Jimmy Kimmel has signed on to host the 95th Oscars, marking his third time in the gig.
Award show veterans Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner will be producing the ceremony. Molly McNearney, Kimmel’s wife and “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” co-head writer and longtime executive producer, will executive produce the 95th Oscars as well.
The ceremony takes place on March 12th 2023, and faces considerable pressure following the ratings slide of recent years. Amy Schumer, Regina Hall and Wanda Sykes co-hosted the ceremony, which aired earlier this year.
Kimmel’s first time as host saw the infamous ‘Envelope-gate’ when “La La Land” was announced as the Best Picture Oscar winner before it was revealed “Moonlight” actually won.
