Jieho Lee (“The Air I Breathe”) is in talks to direct the film adaptation of the upcoming Eidos video game “Kane and Lynch” reports Variety.
Lionsgate is fast-tracking the project for a Fall shoot using one of two scripts being simultaneously written. Kyle Ward is penning one draft, Lee & Bob DeRosa another.
Mercenary Kane and medicated psychopath Lynch meet while being transported to death row and team to seek revenge on a shadowy organization for which Kane once worked.
Adrian Askarieh and Daniel Alter, who’re also producing the upcoming “Hitman” and “Hack/Slash”, will produce “Kane and Lynch.”
