38-year-old Oscar nominee Jesse Eisenberg has confirmed he’ll be playing Bigfoot in the upcoming next effort of the Zellner Brothers.

Appearing at the 28th Sarajevo Film Festival last week in Southeast Europe, the “Social Network” and “Batman v Superman” star confirmed the nature of his role which will be his next project. He tells Variety:

“The next movie I’m doing is [with] the Zellner Brothers. They’re just these brilliant directors that I’ve wanted to work with for a long time, and I’m playing a Sasquatch. In full makeup. In full body hair. No lines – I grunt, but no lines – and I’m so looking forward to this.”

Further specifics of the film are under wraps. Sibling directors David and Nathan Zellner have tackled the subject matter before, specifically in the 2010 four-minute short film “Sasquatch Birth Journal 2” which was nominated for a Sundance Film Festival award.

Eisenberg previously starred with David Zellner in 2019’s “The Art of Self-Defense” with the brothers both executive producing. Eisenberg was at the film festival to premiere his directorial debut “When You Finish Saving the World”.
