“Harry Potter” and “Star Trek” star Jason Isaacs has been cast as iconic Hollywood star Cary Grant in the four-part biographical drama series “Archie”.
The series will tell the story of Grant’s life, from his humble beginnings as Archibald Alexander Leach in Bristol, to the leading man he became in later life in classics ranging from “North by Northwest” to “Notorious,” “His Girl Friday,” and “An Affair to Remember”.
“Philomena” scribe John Pope and “A Confession” director Paul Andrew Williams are both onboard the project which will debut on the ITVX streaming platform in the U.K. later this year.
