Jason Bateman has reportedly exited the Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans-led “Artemis” which Apple previously acquired in a $100 million+ deal.
The Rose Gilroy-penned film is set against the space race but further plot specifics are under wraps. Bateman was attached to direct the project.
The “Ozark” star and his These Pictures label have amicably and mutually chosen to part ways on the pic due to creative differences. However, there are “tentative plans to collaborate on a different project in the future”.
Johansson, Jonathan Lia and Keenan Flynn remain onboard to produce.
