The first official teaser trailer has been released by Warner Bros. Japan for Fumihiko Sori’s live-action take on the classic manga “Fullmetal Alchemist”.
Glimpses of actor Ryosuke Yamada in costume as Edward Elric can be seen as he prepares to battle a transmuted beast. Edward’s little brother Al is also seen.
In the film, two alchemist brothers go on a quest for the Philosopher’s Stone after an attempt to revive their dead mother goes horribly wrong.
“Fullmetal Alchemist” is slated to open in 2017.
