Actress/singer Janelle Monae is the latest to join Rian Johnson’s “Knives Out” movie sequel on Netflix.
The star-studded murder mystery will once again be anchored by Daniel Craig’s enigmatic southern detective Benoit Blanc. Joining him for the new run are Edward Norton, Dave Bautista and now Monae.
Johnson will return to direct and is also producing with Ram Bergman. Shooting begins this summer in Greece.
The first film scored $311.4 million at the box office on a $40 million budget.
