Jack Osbourne is reported set to make his directorial debut on the horror film “Black Sabbath” reports The Press Association.
Despite the title, the film is not a biopic of his father Ozzy Osbourne’s heavy metal band of the same name. Co-producer Marc Weingarten however confirms that “the music of Black Sabbath is in the movie”.
Details of the plot are sketchy aside from it being a horror feature. However this is said to be the same project which Producer Mike Fleiss (“Hostel”) and guitarist Tony Iommi were linked to a few years ago.
Shooting aims to kick off near the end of the year. The younger Osbourne has previously produced a concert documentary about his dad entitled “God Bless Ozzy Osbourne”.
