Jack Huston To Direct “Day of the Fight”

“Boardwalk Empire” and “Ben-Hur” actor Jack Huston is set to make his feature directorial debut on “Day of the Fight”.

The story follows a once celebrated boxer who takes a redemptive journey through his past and present, on the day of his first fight since leaving prison.

Michael Pitt (“Funny Games”) leads a cast that includes Nicolette Robinson (“The Affair”), John Magaro (“First Cow”), Ron Perlman (“Hellboy”) and Oscar winner Joe Pesci (“Goodfellas”).

Huston, grandson of legendary “The Maltese Falcon” and “Key Largo” filmmaker John Huston, will also write and produce the movie with production underway in New York and New Jersey.

Josh Porter, Jai Stefan, Emma Tillinger Koskoff, Colleen Camp produce. Huston will next be seen opposite Nicole Kidman in Amazon series “Expats” and AMC’s “Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches” series.
