J.J. Abrams has reportedly scored the film and animated series rights to Leslie Levings’ “Beastlies”.
The colorful hand-made monster sculpture line would be turned into an animated series and potential “The Smurfs”-esque film franchise.
Neither Abrams or Bad Robot have yet confirmed the report.
