Prolific writer-producer-director J.J. Abrams has set up yet another TV series, this one titled “Subject to Change” at the WarnerMedia-backed streaming service HBO Max.
The “thought-provoking thriller” follows a desperate college student who signs up for a clinical trial that begins a wild, harrowing, mind- and reality-bending adventure.
Abrams will pen the script and executive produce alongside showrunner Jennifer Yale (“Legion,” “Outlander”). It follows just days after news broke that Abrams will executive produce a new “Constantine” series also for HBO Max.
