Isaac In Talks For Marvel’s “Moon Knight”

Having wrapped his “Star Wars” tenure with them, Oscar Isaac looks to be returning to the Disney fold as he’s reportedly in negotiations to lead the cast of the Marvel and Disney+ series “Moon Knight”.

In the comics, the hero is Marc Spector – a mercenary who has numerous alter egos from a cabbie to a millionaire playboy – in order to better fight the criminal underworld. He’s also the conduit for the Egyptian moon god Khonshu.

Jeremy Slater (“Umbrella Academy”) has been tapped to develop and lead the writing team. The companies will now look to attach a director to the series, but no production start date has yet been set.

Isaac will next be seen in Paul Schrader’s “The Card Counter” and Denis Villeneuve’s “Dune” along with HBO’s remake of “Scenes From A Marriage”.
