A new report in British tabloid The Sun indicates actor Robert Pattinson is having difficulty on the set of Matt Reeves’ “The Batman” film in the UK.

The paper claims Pattinson has been “driven to breaking point” with Reeves demanding Pattinson do upwards of fifty takes inside the bulky Batman suit leaving him and other crew exhausted.

Their source says: “Filming has been a gruelling process, especially for Robert, as Matt is such a perfectionist. He’ll insist on doing scenes over and over again and get bogged down in the tiny detail. Sometimes it’s like he doesn’t know when to stop.”

The source continued: “Matt has done blockbusters before, but this is another level… No one is denying that this is a high stakes production and that Matt is feeling the pressure to get it right.”

The film, which also stars Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman and Colin Farrell as The Penguin, has suffered multiple setbacks due to the COVID-19 pandemic with some positive cases reportedly popping up, one of which was believed to be Pattinson himself.

Once it wraps, Warners is intending to stay in the UK for Andy Muschietti’s “The Flash” film with a report at Backstage claiming that production will kick off in April. Michael Keaton and Ben Affleck will reprise their roles as Batman/Bruce Wayne in that film alongside Ezra Miller’s Flash.

For now, “The Batman” is currently targeting a March 4th 2022 release.
