A new report in UK outlet The Sun indicates that up to fifty people have been sent home from the sets of both the fifth “Indiana Jones” film and the third “Ant-Man” film due to a norovirus outbreak.

Both projects are shooting at Pinewood Studios in the UK. Filming on the new “Indiana Jones” feature only just returned from a hiatus a few days ago after 79-year-old star Harrison Ford returned to set following surgery on a shoulder injury sustained rehearsing a stunt.

According to the report, the one upside is none of the film’s stars seem to have been affected by the vomiting bug which has allowed filming to continue in some form. It also comes as a number of crew members are absent due to positive COVID tests and safety protocols.

Recent reports have suggested this final instalment of the franchise will see Ford handing over the reins to his co-star Phoebe Waller-Bridge to follow in his footsteps and potentially see her character get her own archaeological adventure franchise.
