Charlie Hunnam, Djimon Hounsou, Bae Doona and Ray Fisher will lead the cast of Zack Snyder’s epic two-part sci-fi fantasy feature “Rebel Moon” at Netflix.
Sofia Boutella stars in the story of a peaceful colony on the edge of the galaxy threatened by the armies of a tyrannical regent named Belisarius.
Desperate, the colonists dispatch a young woman with a mysterious past to seek out warriors from neighbouring planets to help them make a stand.
Jena Malone, Staz Nair, E. Duffy, Charlotte Maggi and Sky Yang have also signed on for roles in the film which shoot from April through November.
Snyder co-wrote the script with Shay Hatten and Kurt Johnstad and is producing with Deborah Snyder and Wesley Coller.
