Hulu has premiered the trailer for “Modern Family” creator Steve Levitan’s new comedy series “Reboot,” starring Keegan-Michael Key, Johnny Knoxville, Judy Greer, Rachel Bloom, Calum Worthy and Paul Reiser.
The series centers on an early 2000s family sitcom titled “Step Right Up” that is rebooted by Hulu, forcing its dysfunctional cast back together.
Key plays a fussy actor who resents the show for ruining his career, Knoxville a dark and filthy standup comedian for whom the show was his only real acting job, Greer a small town girl whose career never really took off after, and Worthy is a former child actor who never grew up. Reiser plays the show’s original creator, while Bloom plays the writer behind the modern take.
“Reboot” premieres on Hulu on September 20th.
