Hulu’s “Benedict Society” Sets Its Full Cast

Ryan Hurst, Kristen Schaal, MaameYaa Boafo, Gia Sandhu, Mystic Inscho, Emmy DeOliveira, Seth Carr, and Marta Timofeeva have all scored series regular roles on “The Mysterious Benedict Society” series adaptation at Hulu and 20th Century Fox Television. They join the previously cast Tony Hale in dual roles as Mr. Benedict and Mr. Curtain.

Based on the 2007 novel trilogy by Trenton Lee Stewart, the story follows four gifted orphans (Inscho, DeOliveira, Carr, Timofeeva) who are recruited by an eccentric benefactor (Tony Hale) to go on a secret mission.

Placed undercover at a boarding school known as The Institute, they must foil a nefarious plot with global ramifications, while creating a new sort of family along the way.

The project is being adapted for television by “The Invitation” and “R.I.P.D.” scribes Matt Manfredi and Phil Hay who will also serve as executive producers. Darren Swimmer and Todd Slavkin will serve as showrunners and executive producers.
