Hulu has premiered the teaser trailer for the second season of its acclaimed Sterling K. Brown-led sci-fi series “Paradise” which returns on the streamer on February 23rd.
That’s a quick turnaround, with new episodes arriving just under a year after the first season finale on March 4th this year.
Set in a city-sized underground bunker in Colorado three years after a doomsday event, Brown plays Secret Service agent Xavier Collins, who seeks the truth behind the killing of the U.S. President – unsure of whom he can trust.
The second season picks up right after the first with Xavier searching for his wife Teri out in the world and learning how people survived the three years since The Day. He forges new alliances and encounters some serious threats.
Back in Paradise, the social fabric frays as the bunker deals with the aftermath of the first season and new secrets are uncovered about the city’s origins.
Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon Bloom, Aliyah Mastin, Percy Daggs IV and James Marsden co-star in the series.
