Hulu has picked up the new animated family comedy “Koala Man” to series, ordering eight episodes from 20th Television Animation, Princess Pictures, and Bento Box.
The story follows a family patriarch who lives a not-so-secret identity of Koala Man, an Australian suburban superhero with no powers but a burning passion to snuff out petty crime and bring order to the community.
The series hails from creator Michael Cusack (“Rick & Morty: Bushworld Adventures,” “YOLO: Crystal Fantasy”) with Benji Samit and Dan Hernandez (“Central Park,” “The Tick”) serving as showrunners and “Solar Opposites” creator Justin Roiland as executive producer.
