Wrestling megastar Hulk Hogan has given a big thumbs up of approval to Chris Hemsworth, the Australian actor and Marvel Studios star who will play Hogan in an upcoming biopic.
Recent photos of Hemsworth have shown the actor seemingly hitting his biggest mass to date and more shredded than ever from months of non-stop workouts to get Hogan’s “24-inch pythons”.
Hogan took to Twitter to say the actor is now officially “ready” to play him in the upcoming film which will reunite “Joker” team of director Todd Phillips and co-writer Scott Silver.
The WWE Hall of Famer posted photo comparisons and says: “He’s already there! He’s ready BROTHER!!!. But is he good looking enough to play me?”
Hemsworth has spoken about the prep for the role which is extensive from the accent, physicality and attitude to the balding blonde hair and handlebar mustache. The film will cover Hogan’s rise to stardom in the 1980s when Hulkamania was at the peak of its popularity.
